Hilltop Estates is a safe community, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t have crime. The Balch Springs Police Department is understaffed, which is why we don’t see as many patrol cars coming through our neighborhood as we used to. We can’t rely just on the 
Police Department to prevent crime in our neighborhood.
As a community, there is a lot we can do to help. Keep our eyes open and report any suspicious activity to the police. Please do not intervene. The police non-emergency number is 972-557-6000 or if it is an emergency call 911.
